Ccna Training Videos
Posted : admin On 08.11.2019Hi there, my name is and I'm a Cisco Certified Academy Instructor. I have taught locally for several years now and have always been a fan of video training for IT professionals. One of the issues with them though, is the cost to use them. Either you have to pay several hundred dollars for a one-time purchase, or monthly for a subscription. For those who wish to remain legal but have a tight budget, these great video trainings are unavailable.
Visuals Training presents free CCNA (640-802) video training series. 68 videos of training, divided into 8 sections, consist of more than 20 hours of training, covers. This CCNA course improves a candidate's information and talents about network basics, LAN switching, IPv4 and IPv6 routing.
I'm passionate about teaching others IT, and to help those who wish to learn, I want to release quality video trainings for free! To start, I want to produce a CCNA series due to it being a great baseline for additional learning. Upon completion of the video series, I intend on uploading it to YouTube for everyone to view. Cisco has just announced that a new CCNA Network Academy curriculum (5.0) is due in the June to December timeline for 2013. The CCNA exams are also being updated by the end of September.
When the new curriculum is released, I want to review it and generate an outline and notes for the training series. Then of course, record the videos and release them as quickly as possible.

Often video training companies are slow to respond to new material, I not only want to have these free, but the first available. Why do you need funding? From reviewing the existing curriculum, I estimate there to be around 150 videos, each one a specific subject, for a run time of around 100 or so hours. It's an enormous undertaking and I need help to accomplish it. With these funds, I intend on hiring someone to help create that initial outline, which will be about a hundred hours worth of work alone. I then will take a week off from my normal job and record the whole series.
I have already received quotes for the work I need completed, and the funding goal reflects that. No more, no less. All of my time, which will certainly be in the hundreds of hours range, will be unpaid. Once complete, I will use video hosting services such as YouTube to provide them for free to the rest of the world.
If more funds are raised than needed for this video, the money will go towards stretch goals such as improved post production and additional series such as CCNA Security, Wireshark Certified Network Analyst (WCNA), and others. What will the videos look like? They will be produced in the style of many other IT video series, with a screen cast digital white board style, and applications included (such as telnet/SSH to a router) when needed.
What about the rewards? The rewards are financially spread out to best accommodate as many people as possible, and I've tried to keep the most interesting ones as low in price as possible. Unfortunately, hosting bandwidth, producing physical discs, shipping, etc. All cost money, so the prices reflect those costs with a similar ratio of money going to the usable funding goal for each. Due to said bandwidth and production costs of such a large project, only backers will get digital or physical copies of the video files and I will rely on video hosting services such as YouTube to provide them for free to the rest of the world. Risks and challenges Most of the risks and challenges related to my project revolve around timing. It is possible Cisco delays some of the content as it gets released and I will need to push out the delivery timeline.
The update will though, happen, as it has been long overdue. An additional time-related challenge will be the recording and post-production time. It is possible those steps will take longer than anticipated, and as mentioned, I may need to push out the delivery date a bit. Neither of these challenges though threaten the final product from being created. Physical copy!. All of the above, and get an HD 1080p quality copy of the series in digital format (MP4), with each video a separate file. This will be available available via a burned Blu-ray disc or multiple DVDs, designed for playback on a computer.
NOTE: This will NOT play in most standard DVD set-top players for TVs as the videos will be individual files on the discs, not tracks like a movie. Some Blu-ray set-top players may be able to play them. You will decide your disc format in the post-campaign survey.
